Hey… it’s been a bit!

I appreciate your patience, so much is happening right now and I mean that in the most amazing way. I’m well aware that this is a moment in time and I don’t want to miss a thing.

Ferris Bueller said it best:

Given that, I wanted to share a few things.

First, I want to continue to publish a newsletter, but not under a weekly cadence and not on any terms but my own. I want to take some creative liberties and write when there are things to say that are meaningful and interesting. Sharing is something that I love to do and I don’t want it to become a chore. So, I’ll drop into your inbox when it makes sense. That could be twice in one week, other times monthly, or bi-weekly, it will depend on what’s happening. Plus, LinkedIn is always around for daily updates.

Second, and related to the first, I want to update this ‘newsletter.’ I don’t even know if it should be considered a newsletter, rather something else. Name change, too. Time for a refresh. What I do hope is that it allows me to share with you across different mediums — written word, photos, video, et cetera. I don’t want to be confined to any one source because that will impact the value of thought I can share with you. There’s just too much to be lost otherwise.

And third, I wanted to highlight how much fun this continues to be and just how thankful I am that we’re connected. Lots of people ask me about end goals or how I plan to monetize this, and I really think that’s missing the entire point. For me, this is about building, being creative, learning and sharing. It’s much bigger than any one person. My passion lies in doing things that I want and with people I choose. It’s intentional in that working and helping one another grow is a feeling inside that can’t be beat. Addictive, maybe. Worth it, absolutely.
